1. Provenance, Restitution and Return, Conference, Maastricht

Come join us in Maastricht! Our annual conference will consider the challenge of how to scale up the provenance research needed for the collections of cultural goods from former colonies. It also raises the question if and in how far the policies and principles developed for Nazi looted art can be applied to colonial goods and heritage.

2. Impact Assessment in a World Heritage context, Course, Online

ICCROM is running this online course which “will explore how impact assessment and multidisciplinary cooperation can be useful in identifying solutions for both protecting World Heritage sites”

3. Postdoctoral Research Fellowship – Cultural Heritage Crime, Job, Oslo

Two very exciting jobs at Oslo for postdocs in Cultural Heritage Crime. 3 years, full time, starting 1 Oct at the latest. One should have a background in Nordic region archaeology, the other in criminology.
