1. Cultural Property Protection “Summer” School (October), Cyprus

“This intensive programme is designed for MSc and PhD students, researchers, heritage professionals, surveyors, archaeologists, architects, criminologists, and conservation experts who wish to deepen their skills in reality-based surveying, geospatial technologies, remote sensing, criminology, and the legal frameworks underpinning cultural heritage protection.” I’m teaching on this.

2. Critical Heritage Practices: Archaeobotanical Collections, Job/PhD Position, Groningen, Netherlands

A wonderful opportunity for a supported PhD project considering the heritage and colonial/decolonial qualities of archaeobotanical collections. Note that in the Netherlands PhD positions are real jobs so this is a fully paid position.

4. Coding Provenance, Workshop, Lüneburg, Germany

For provenance researchers “with no coding experience but curious about computational techniques”. “Bringing together scholars and practitioners from fields such as provenance studies, art history, history, material culture, and cultural anthropology, the workshop explores how digital methods and tools can open new pathways for analyzing, interpreting, and rethinking provenance data”

5. MA Security and Cultural Heritage Studies, Degree Programme, Online

The Ionian University’s “MA in “Security and Cultural Heritage Studies” (SCHER) aims to provide students with specialized knowledge on the protection of cultural heritage as well as a comprehensive understanding of contemporary security issues through a prescient analysis of current and future threats related to cultural heritage.” Taught in English.
