1. The Provenance of Asian Collections, PhD Studentship, London

This is an opportunity to do a PhD funded by the AHRC focused on provenance of Asian collections at the V&A museum. There’s a strong joint supervision team and the possibility of doing some really innovative provenance work.

2. Protecting Ukraine’s Cultural Heritage in Wartime: Identifying the Responsibilities of Non-Parties to the Conflict, Lecture, Milan and Online

3. Looted Symposium, Call for Contributions, Netherlands

“The symposium Looted / Beroofd will explore themes relating to the impact of loss and the shifting meaning of art, books and Jewish ritual objects when their context changes in and around the Second World War.” They are seeking papers and proposals for the conference.

4. Cultural Property Advisory Committee Meeting, Virtual Open Session

the CPAC committee invites public comment on the cultural property import restrictions between the US and Ecuador and Jordan, as well as a a request for restrictions from Ukraine.

5. Cultural Heritage Forward: A Shared Stewardship and Ethical Returns Exchange Program, Washington DC

If you are a cultural heritage person from Cameroon, Nigeria, New Zealand, Vietnam, Chile, or Peru, take a look at this funded exchange with the Smithsonian. Look ASAP because the closing date is soon, but the extended the deadline which implies they are still looking to fill spaces. A great opportunity.
