Busy two weeks for cultural heritage protection (and for me)

Interesting things are happening in the world of cultural property research and policy

York GateThese past two weeks have been brutal. I travel a lot but not usually in the middle of a tornado. I tend to get to a place and stay there: settle in and work a bit. from 17 June until 30 June however, everything in the antiquities trafficking/art crime realm came to a head, event wise. I went to a lot of it as well as some museums in spare moment. Half ‘rock-n-roll’ lifestyle, half ‘I’m really tired’. Actually mostly ‘I’m really tired’.

Academia is 90% desk-work and 10% mania.

I should probably reflect more on some of these events in this blog but see above, I can do that later. For now, dear readers, this is what’s been going on with me. My agenda for the past 2 weeks.
