As I am neither Swiss nor a collector, I might as well not be anonymous. I am Donna Yates, an archaeologist turned criminologist post-doctoral research fellow with the Trafficking Culture project at the University of Glasgow.
I normally work in Latin America and I am moving towards looking at antiquities and heritage regulation/law within historic and present social contexts with an eye towards policy.
I also like whales, Mount Everest, films about baseball, 19th century travel literature, earrings shaped like ancient stuff, uncontacted Amazonian societies, and 16th-18th century portraiture.
